Compete in the First Annual AWS VT Competition
The AWS VT competition will take place on 22 & 23 October 2024 and will assess visual testing skills of Certified Weld Inspectors or Senior Certified Weld Inspectors on welded connections.
The application submission deadline is 7 October 2024.
Prizes will be given to first and second place winners.
After your competition application is approved, you will be sent a link to complete a conference registration. If you are only attending the annual conference to participate in the VT competition, you will be provided a complimentary exhibit hall pass.
Who Can Compete?
Open to currently certified CWI’s or SCWI’s. The candidate must provide their certification number for verification and is expected to have hands on experience with visual weld inspection and reporting. You must be proficient in visual weld inspection.
