Call For Proceedings Papers & Presentations

The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) will hold its 33rd Research Symposium 23 – 27 June 2025. Make plans now to participate in the premier forum for the exchange of advances in nondestructive evaluation.

The theme for the 33rd Symposium, New Horizons: The intersection of technology, community, and collaboration, recognizes the importance of NDE across several industries and generations. The symposium will not only spotlight cutting-edge research but also the students who are the future of NDE research!

The ASNT Research Council Program Committee seeks the following types of submissions:

  • Technical Papers
  • Posters
  • Panel Discussions
  • Industry
  • Work-In-Progress

Submissions Should:

  • Address Important Research Questions
  • Increase the Knowledge and Skills of Scholars and Industry Professionals
  • Promote the Development of the NDE Profession
  • Showcase Methodological Rigor
  • Be 20 minutes in length

Submission Requirements:

  • Title (20 word maximum recommended)
  • Session Selection/Topic. Note: Most session topics have been confirmed.
  • All organizational affiliations
  • Presenting author and all co-authors
  • Presenting author biography (100 words or less)
  • Presentation Short Description: 50 words or less to be used in the mobile app and online agenda.
  • Minimum 300 word abstract. Submitting authors have the option to submit a two to four page proceedings paper to be considered for presentation.  Accepted proceedings papers will be included in the conference proceedings and have the option of being published, open access, with a DOI number. Abstracts only submissions will not be published.
