Presenters who submit a two to four page proceedings paper will be included in the peer reviewed ASNT Research Symposium Proceedings. Optionally, proceedings papers, a DOI number, will be published in the ASNT Digital Library. The proceedings papers will be citable and searchable on Google Scholar.*
The Symposium proceedings will be made available to the public, in the ASNT Digital Library, via the Creative Commons CC BY-ND 4.0 license.
CC BY-ND 4.0 Explained: By releasing work under the Creative Commons BY-ND-40 license, the author/creator is allowing that iteration of the work to be used anywhere providing proper citations are given. This secondary use cannot contain any modifications or derivatives. The author/creator retains the right to modify/update/extend the work and publish/release the updated iterations anywhere and at their choosing.
*Presenters have the option, during the submission process, to opt out of this publication opportunity.
Authors are also encouraged to expand their proceeding paper to eight to ten pages in length for publication consideration in a special Symposium edition of Research in Nondestructive Evaluation (RNDE). Deadline for submission of expanded papers will be 1 October 2024. Details on submitting your work to RNDE can be found at https://asnt.org/rnde.
