Submission and Selection Process

Submissions must include a minimum 300 word abstract. Submitting authors have the option to submit a two to four page proceedings paper to be considered for presentation.  Accepted proceedings papers will be included in the conference proceedings and have the option of being published, open access, with a DOI number. Abstracts only submissions will not be published.

Session chairs, along with volunteer reviewers, will score each submission. After the review are completed, session chairs will make their recommendations to the Program Committee. Acceptance notification will be made by 1 April 2024.

Accepted authors agree to register for, and attend, the Symposium and present as scheduled. All funding for fees, travel, and accommodations shall be obtained independent of ASNT.

• Relevancy and Alignment to Conference Theme "Impacting the present and future frontiers in NDE"
• Research Methodology and Novelty
• Correctness of Research Results Presented and Overall Technical Quality of Paper
  
• Grammar & Spelling
  
• Non-Commercialism/Promotion
  
• Dissimilarity to other work
• Does the work stimulate conversation and challenge the audience to think differently about the topic
