Mr. George Hodges is a Radiographic SME and Level 3 for HODGES NDT LLC providing industrial radiography consulting services. He received a BSME from Memphis State University prior to serving as a US Army Test Engineer on Redstone Arsenal for over 30 years. During his tenure with the Army, Mr. Hodges earned the position of Government Responsible Level 3 in RT, and designation as a US Army Subject Matter Expert in RT, CR, DR, CT, and Flash X-ray. He is an ASNT RT Level III and NAS410 L3 in film and non-film Radiography. His volunteer service and support of the Defense Working Group on NDT continued into his retirement from federal service. His participation in the DWGNDT was instrumental in the formation and endorsement of the Federal Working Group on Industrial Digital Radiography, a team of industry experts that addressed and resolved many issues on digital radiography within the Federal community. Since retirement in 2018, his part-time career has been working to assist others in their digital radiography journey.
