Biography

Nathanial Matz is a research engineer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) where he is the lab manager of the Qualitative Ultrasonics for Inspection and Structural Prognosis (QUISP) laboratory. He received his bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering and applied mechanics from UNL. His work has focused on ultrasonic testing for nondestructive evaluation with a focus on grain scattering of polycrystalline metals in both experimental and theoretical frameworks.

Biography

Yoganandh Madhuranthakam is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University, East Lansing USA. He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad India with a MS majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a system modelling engineer at Eaton Innovation center, Pune India with experience in automotive system level modelling for vibration and acoustic analysis. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in the area of ultrasonic NDE. His doctoral research focused on nonlinear acoustics in inhomogeneous media.

Biography

Ms. Chambers currently serves as the manager of the Nondestructive Characterizations Group at Kratos-SRE in Birmingham, Alabama. In the Advanced Technology Development department, she oversees the technical aspects of nondestructive testing activities related to material evaluation. Additionally, she manages the development of new test capabilities to inspect unique materials and structures. Overall, she has over 18 years of experience evaluating aerospace-related materials for a wide range of applications.
