Ultrasonic inspection of friction stir welds: Multi-tool evaluation from simulation to data analysis
8:00 AM - 8:45 AMPresentation Description
Improved ultrasonic inspection tools provide opportunities for inspectors to complete a comprehensive analysis of friction stir welds. By implementing collaborative software, inspectors can evaluate a complex weld and select the appropriate probe and delay laws through CIVA, apply these settings in Prelude for inspection, and perform detailed analysis back in CIVA.
