Presentation Description
Altough the Title of the Presentation remains the same like last year, the Content will be different:
A Focus in this years Presentation will be the "Trinitiy of NDT" in some practical use cases. Combining NDT with Vision and Metrology gives lot of added value to the Aerospace Industry. Not only saving footprint on the Shopfloor, by combining several methods in one automated system - the aggregation and generation of added value of several inspection methods will be demonstrated in the Presentation.
Robotic NDT in Aerospace has still lot of potential to be improved, and to add value with Digital Twin based Solutions, like the "Digital Rigging Assistant".

Biography
Thomas Gramberger has more than one decade experience in developing automated NDT & Metrology Systems for the Aerospace Industry. His former activities in Automotive (Solutions for OEMs with Focus on Robotics and Simulation) is a good base to get use of Synergies from both industries. Introducing precise NC controlled robots in the NDT world is his passion, as he is convinced about the added value, this technology is giving to various inspection technologies. Multi-Modality is the new approach, bringing Aerospace Manufacturing Companies one step ahead – as automated systems can combine several NDT Inspection Methods, but also contactless Metrology (CMM).
