Advancing X-Ray Imaging: Next-Generation Software for Acquisition, Reconstruction, and Analysis
Presentation Description
The evolution of X-ray imaging demands innovative software solutions that enhance user experience, streamline workflows, and deliver advanced analytical capabilities. We introduce a comprehensive update to our X-ray software suite, including a modernized user interface for data acquisition, radiograph viewing, 3D volume reconstruction, and X-ray simulation within our X-series cabinets. Central to this release is a groundbreaking next-generation reconstruction software designed to replace its predecessor, offering equivalent core functionality with significant enhancements. Key features include a new scene tree for intuitive navigation, rapid surface preview, animation capabilities, a novel file format preserving volume position, histogram settings, 2D slice annotations and filtering, and a consolidated multi-pane view for improved usability. Additionally, the software introduces two optional add-on modules tailored to diverse user needs. The first module, aimed at inspectors, provides a sophisticated bookmarking feature to mark and revisit specific locations in 3D volumes and 2D slices, facilitating detailed evaluation of areas of interest. The second module ensures compliance with ASTM E1695 standards, enhancing industry applicability. These advancements collectively empower radiographers, inspectors, and researchers with intuitive, powerful tools to elevate diagnostic and analytical precision in X-ray imaging. This presentation will showcase the software’s capabilities, demonstrate real-world applications, and discuss its impact on the future of non-destructive testing and imaging.
