Presentation Description
This talk will cover the advantages and challenges of working with co-bots in an ultrasonic NDT environment. Robots are often helpful for managing complex trajectories and surfaces with minimal setup time. This flexibility makes them an ideal candidate for on-the-fly tests with any variety of part, probe, or inspection method.
Biography
By 2014, Gideon expanded their expertise to include offshore and robotic subsea ultrasonic inspections. This period also marked a significant milestone as Gideon achieved the ASNT UT Level 3 certification.
In 2017, Gideon relocated to the United States, settling in Katy, Texas, and continued to focus on subsea inspections. Their career progressed further in 2021 when they took on the role of Operations Manager for the Americas. Despite the managerial responsibilities, Gideon remains actively involved in the field, conducting Subsea PAUT inspection and advanced Ultrasonic inspections (FMC-TFM) nuclear inspections.
