NDE Data Analysis – Beyond Defect Detection
Presentation Description
Information generated during Non-Destructive Evaluation has traditionally been stored in Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentation or Word documents. While these reports are flexible and easy to interpret, they pose challenges for automated information retrieval. In high-volume production or asset-monitoring environments, this information may be stored in databases and can be quickly queried. However, databases are highly structured and are often difficult to modify or update. Any information that was not explicitly stored in these reports or databases become inaccessible.
In this presentation, we will look at low-code and no-code options for retrieving information from embedded metadata. This enables automation of historical trending, predictive modelling and many other useful insights.
Keywords: automation, metadata, open-access, NDE 4.0, reporting
