Details

Definition of techniques is a mandatory task of the Responsible Level 3 when implementing Written Practice for personnel qualification acc. to NAS 410 / E4179 at the Employer. Although the task may seem simple at first, their wrong implementation (inappropriate selection, their number, etc.) may adversely affect many parts of the Written Practice and may cause serious issues, especially when facing audits by Nadcap, prime contractors, EASA Part 145 approval, and similar. The presentation provides a comprehensive overview of areas in the Written Practice impacted by selecting techniques, related misconceptions, implications, and challenges. It provides several examples of suitable treatment in compliance with EU member NANDTB requirements.
