Details
Calibration is an area that is often overlooked when it comes to the nondestructive testing operation. The importance of calibration cannot be understated because the results of the nondestructive test(s) may be significantly or adversely affected if the equipment is not properly calibrated. Developing a calibration system with proper controls, calibration tolerances and frequencies can be a challenge. This presentation will attempt to address the particulars involved in setting up and controlling a calibration system as well as controlling specifications and standards.
