Computed Tomography (CT) is by now an established inspection method in NDT. The main challenges in implementing this powerful technology are its comparably high costs and the long scan times that are required to achieve good results. This presentation will explore technology innovations on the tube, detector and algorithmic side to significantly speed up the required time for a high resolution CT scan. Beyond that overview the presenter will provide implementation examples and limitations of what can be achieved today,
