Details

Bond testing resonance technology has been around for over 40 years as a nondestructive testing (NDT) technique that is used to detect disbonds, delaminations, and other voids in composite materials. Even though the technology has been around for many years, resonance testing remains one of the most misunderstood NDT techniques. Used by many organizations, it is sometimes mistakenly classified as ultrasonic inspection. In this technical paper, we will take a more in-depth look at this technology and may even unlock some of the mysteries of resonance testing.
