Latest Developments in TFM II: Phase Coherence Imaging
Presentation Description
A review of the benefits and differences of Phase Coherence Imaging (PCI) in comparison to Full Matrix Capture / Total Focusing Method (FMC/TFM), Plane Wave Imaging (PWI), and Phased Array (PAUT). We will show real-world examples where PCI improves SNR in large grain and attenuative materials that pose challenges to traditionally used Ultrasonic testing methods.
Biography
Gavin Dao is the Director of Business Development for AOS/TPAC Group which specializes in NDT solutions and the development of instrumentation based on Phased Array Ultrasound and Full Matrix Capture/ Total Focusing Method technology.
Gavin’s background is in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and he has been a part of the R&D of multiple generations of phased array equipment for 18 years.
He actively collaborates with various NDT companies to create new inspection tools and application solutions.
